About the Role:
A dynamic and growing organisation in Geelong is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations and drive strategic growth. The General Manager will lead teams, manage resources effectively, and ensure operational efficiency across various business units, contributing to the company’s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct overall business operations, aligning strategies with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control initiatives.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement continuous improvement measures.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to executive leadership.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in general management or senior leadership roles within similar industries.
  • Excellent strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and analytics.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams, manage change, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Commerce, or related disciplines preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in management or industry-specific areas are a plus.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of AUD 140,000–180,000 per annum, based on experience and industry.
