About the Role:
A respected early learning centre in Shepparton is looking for a compassionate and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This role is focused on delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. The successful candidate will support inclusive, play-based learning environments while collaborating with families and ensuring compliance with early childhood education frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement tailored learning programs supporting children’s development across all domains.
  • Provide safe, nurturing, and inclusive care supporting each child’s wellbeing.
  • Observe, assess, and document children’s learning to guide individualised education plans
  • Engage with families to share progress and involve them in their child’s early learning journey.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards including NQS and Victorian Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and promote a positive workplace culture.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher qualification.
  • Current Working with Children Check and relevant first aid certificates (CPR, asthma, anaphylaxis).
  • Previous experience or demonstrated skills working with young children in education or care settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.
  • Knowledge of current early childhood education standards and best practices.

Preferred:

  • Experience with children with additional needs or from culturally diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaborative teamwork.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $56,000–$72,000 per annum, commensurate with qualification and experience.
