About the Role:
A reputable organisation in Melbourne is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their team. The role involves collecting, processing, and analysing data to provide actionable business insights, supporting strategic decisions, and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and validate data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct data analysis and visualization using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau to generate informative reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business units to understand analytics needs and design solutions for performance enhancement.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies through statistical analysis.
- Support predictive analytics and modelling initiatives.
- Present findings clearly to stakeholders to influence decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, IT, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Data Analyst or in a relevant business setting.
- Proficiency with SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex data clearly.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and modelling is advantageous.
