About the Role:
An established organisation in Ballarat is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support business process improvement, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration. The role involves gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business needs, and driving solutions that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business units to gather, analyze, and document requirements for new and existing projects.
- Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement and support implementation plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training documentation, and change management activities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate insights and progress to management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–4 years experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with solid understanding of business processes and system analysis.
- Proficiency with requirements gathering tools, process mapping, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
