About the Role:
Skill City Facility Solutions is seeking reliable and experienced Cleaning Staff to join our team in Castlemaine. This role is essential in maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards across commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, be self-motivated, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting facility areas to maintain a spotless environment.
- Empty and sanitize rubbish bins and maintain proper waste disposal.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, and high-touch areas following health and safety standards.
- Restock consumable supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials when required.
- Conduct visual inspections of cleaning areas and report maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Follow cleaning schedules and adhere to workplace safety processes and policies.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and maintained correctly in compliance with company procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous commercial or facility cleaning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Current Police Check and/or Working with Children Check (WWCC) preferred.
- Availability for flexible hours and onsite work at client facilities.
