About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Restaurant Cleaner to join our cleaning team supporting premium restaurants in Melbourne’s CBD. This role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean floors, surfaces, tables, counters, and kitchen equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Wash dishes and utensils using commercial dishwashers or by hand during service periods.
- Sanitize high-touch areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Remove rubbish and clean bathrooms as required.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.
- Work collaboratively as part of a fast-paced hospitality team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality cleaning preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and repetitive cleaning duties.
- Availability for shifts 7 days per week, approximately 5 hours per day, including evenings.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude.
