About the Role:
A leading technology company in Melbourne is seeking a talented and innovative Web Developer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining engaging, high-performance websites and applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You will collaborate across teams to bring creative solutions and stay ahead of web technology trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise responsive websites and web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to turn visions into functional, high-quality digital solutions.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and fast load times.
  • Write clean, efficient code following industry best practices and version control standards (Git).
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and code reviews to uphold high standards of quality and performance.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies, tools, and trends, and recommend innovative improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a front-end or full-stack Web Developer.
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience working with APIs, JSON, and asynchronous data handling.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, databases) is a plus.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $80,000–$105,000 per annum, based on experience and skills.
